6. “Women and Children First”
Here a group of women and children (my mother, my siblings and my cousins) pose and linger awkwardly with expectation in an Irish riverbed on my uncle’s farm. The map overlay is of the mouth of the main Liverpool channel, signaling the start of an historical watery passage for many an Irish immigrant family.
